Hello! I’m Michael but you can call me Mike!

Adventuring, traveling and being outdoors excites me! I'm a follower of Jesus, Husband and dedicated father to my 3 amazing children. Besides photography; some of my favorite things are spending time with my family, exploring, eating amazing food, reading, visiting Scotland, seeing the Angels baseball team play and going to all kinds of concerts.

I began my photographic career back in high school by taking on a part-time job with a professional editorial and portrait photographer. Since then I have been refining and honing my craft and have been blessed to have photographed over 500 weddings. Every time I work with a new couple I get a rush of excitement. I make sure my couples are comfortable, happy and laughing the whole time:) It's my goal to not only provide you with amazing photos by also to provide an amazing experience!

I officially launched Michael Stephens Photography back in 2010 and have seen business grow rapidly mostly through referrals from my past clients. I love living in the Central Coast of California where I was born and raised. I have so much fun working with couples that it never actually feels like “work”. Photographing people on their wedding day has been one of the biggest honors and blessings. Y’all are the reason I love what I do and why I chose to do it!
