Kambe Family - Family Photos - {Atascadero, CA}

Let me just say that I have a love/hate relationship with the rain. When I was young I was in the Boy Scouts. I will never forget the time I went camping with my troop and it rained like crazy. Here we were, a few miles away from anything, sleeping in our tents and BAM! Rain.  It rained all night and when it was time to get packed up the next morning we were all soaked.  We packed all our gear and hiked out in the driving rain and we even had to dig out part of the trail that had been washed away. It was no fun. This is the part I don't like about rain.Then there are the parts about rain that I LOVE. Like the fresh amazing smell in the air that can only come after a fresh rain. The sound that the rain makes outside my window as my family and I cuddle up next to a warm fire. The life that the rain brings. I really cherish all of these things.So this past weekend, while good friends where visiting my home, it rained. And, as they were leaving we decided to take a few pictures. It only lasted 5 minutes or so but I think the memories will last a lifetime :) Enjoy
